Most Sundays I spend a good portion of the day shopping for and preparing meals for the week. Because of the hours I work at my job I have to bring both lunch and dinner with me each day. Preparing meals that I don’t tire of by mid week has been hit or miss for me. But I enjoy that time I spend in the kitchen each week.
This Sunday I was in my kitchen early preparing my contribution to a lovely and casual brunch I was headed to with some friends.
Inspired by La Barefoot Contessa, this salad came with a side of lemon yogurt (but no limoncello cuz there was kids and pregnant-type ladies around)
Biggie and Smallz
Wanna know what what to do with a whole mess of leftover fruit salad?
To the freezer! Smoothies til spring, friends.
I’m working on revamping the blog. Looking to create a bit more focus to what I post. I’m not ready to fully implement the changes, but “Sundays in the kitchen” is one of the featurette’s I’m playing around with. yes, no maybe so?
Looks good! I had fresh blackberrries the other day and they were GREAT!

Hey Erin, I love the idea of Sunday's in Kitchen! I'm always looking for tasty, filling, yet healthy lunch ideas to take to the office. And, it's very rare that I have time to put anything together in the morning before work.

Katie: it felt spring-y to have a nice little bowl of berries - I know they came from across the world, but they were good!
