EARTHQUAKE!!!!

*a quick break from hiatus for this special important newsbreak!*

We had an earthquake last night!!??!  Hi, if you read this and don't know where this blog takes place, um, it's Illinois. And while there is a big ol' fault line somewhere around these parts we are not known for our earthquakes.  And if my sister hadn't called me this morning to ask me if I'd felt the earthquake I might have stuck with the original fear I'd conjured up semi-concsious last night that perhaps I'd started having seizures, because either my bed was rocking back and forth last night or I was.

Anybody else feel the quake?

hiatus.

I'm taking a short hiatus, if you haven't noticed.  I have a mountain of new things happening what with moving, quitting and starting a new biz.  I'm finding that 'blogging' has just fallen by the wayside.  I'm thinking I may be back soon once I'm moved in to share photos of the changes I make to the condo...or I'll be back with dispatches from my trip to Colorado...or I'll be back to report from the life of the self-employed wellness coach/therapist.  Or this'll be it for the blog.  Whatever the case I'll let you know in a bit. 

In the meanwhile, please enjoy this photo I took from a recent trip I took into the Illinois countryside for a baby shower.  When you grow up in Evanston, or perhaps anywhere on the North Shore you assume that Illinois ends at McCormick Ave or at the Old Orchard mall...but it aint' true people!  Get to know your state!  Here is a shot taken in the fine small town of Bristol, Il.  Never heard of it?  I couldn't even find it on the map!  See you soon!

I've realized more and more lately that the life I dream about is starting to become part of my current life and no longer part of some undetermined future.  Of course there are always more daydreams to be had, and plans to concoct.  But things are getting good around here and I'm so excited to be sharing it with all of you.

The next few weeks are going to be a bit insane for me as I move into the condo and out of my apartment.  My camera has been focused on taking pictures of items to sell on Craigslist lately, but I will get it ready to capture the adventures of my move...is that even interesting?  We'll see!
